From Serious To Silly

There is no much bad news around that I thought it was time for something silly.

I looked through my writing books and found something I wrote from a writing exercise. We had to pick a letter of the alphabet and just write using that letter as often as possible. From 50-100 words. I picked the letter S.

“Silly Sara sat smiling and singing side by side stamping sandwiches and silly putty. She simply sorted soft from solids, sliding them into selections of sugary and salty. Spreading them on the spiral table standing next to the sofa, the spicy ones to the side, she speculated a spree in stacks of stable eating, before they stagnated and spoiled.

The star staple stood starchy and statuesque until she wa in a state of starving. She stuffed the savory stew and sauce into the satiny bowl. She stood, smiling, satisfied; it was done.”

I hope this made you smile and even reach for a pencil. It’s a fun thing to do when you are bored. Or even if you are not.

Keep love and kisses in your life. Helene
